SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A female passenger in her 20s was killed early Monday in a single vehicle rollover crash on an Interstate 5 onramp near downtown San Diego, and a man who was driving was arrested on suspicion of DUI, authorities said.
The fatality on the northbound 11th Avenue onramp to northbound I-5 was reported at 2:09 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The woman, who was trapped in the vehicle, died at the scene, and a second passenger was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the CHP reported.
The name of the driver, also in his 20s, was not immediately released.
