EL CAJON (CNS) - A Ramona music teacher who molested three sisters is scheduled to be sentenced Friday at the courthouse in El Cajon.
Mark Lewis Kinney, 48, was convicted last month of seven child molestation counts and one count of possession of child pornography. A jury acquitted him on two additional child molestation charges.
Kinney, who was arrested in December 2009, faces up to 32 years in state prison.
According to prosecutors, Kinney molested the girls, took pictures of two of them and had child pornography on his computer when he was taken into custody.
The oldest sister testified that Kinney molested her when she was 9.
Kinney, a pianist and drummer who gave private music lessons throughout San Diego County, took advantage of his position of trust with girls younger than 14, sheriff's officials said.
