SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) – It's a big day for the five-month-old sea otter rescued by SeaWorld. The pup was found in Monterey Beach underweight and suffering from parasites. Last week, the names for the otter were narrowed down to three and News 8 viewers got to vote on the new name.

And the winning name is: Clover

Here's how the results break down:

Kellie - 12%
Clover - 48%
Mollie - 40%

Thanks to everyone who voted and congratulations Clover!

This is a story update. The original story is below.

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - An adorable baby sea otter has everything she needs, except a name and that's where the public can help.

The little gal got off to a rough start, abandoned by mom and sick with parasites. The Monterey Bay Aquarium needed SeaWorld's help and drove her to San Diego for care.

She's doing so well now it's time to pick a name and SeaWorld wants News 8 viewers to make that decision.

News 8's Jeff Zevely files this video report from SeaWorld with all the details.
