RAINBOW (CNS) - A dump truck hauling gravel and pulling a trailer crashed on Interstate 15 in North County Saturday, and at least one person was injured.
The truck flipped over on the right shoulder of southbound Interstate 15 and ended up in the center divider approaching Rainbow Valley Road around 8 a.m., according to California Highway Patrol.
One lane of southbound traffic remain closed for several hours to remove gravel from the freeway. Traffic in northbound lanes was also backed up about a half-mile to Mission Road.
A dispatcher with NorthComm Fire said an ambulance took the injured person to a hospital with undisclosed injuries.
