SAN DIEGO (CNS) - San Diego police Wednesday were investigating the stabbing of a 35-year-old man in Palm City.
The man, who was expected to survive, walked into an emergency room at Scripps Mercy Hospital Tuesday night and said he was stabbed in the chest at 49th Street and Imperial Avenue, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.
Officers were called about 8:10 p.m. to investigate the stabbing, Delimitros said, adding that they could not find the crime scene.
The man will be interviewed again Wednesday, after he is treated, Delimitros said.
