SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 40-year-old man was hospitalized when the motorcycle he was riding was struck by a truck in North Clairemont, police said today.
The crash happened about 11:15 a.m., Wednesday, when the man, whose name was not released, was operating his motorcycle westbound in the 4200 block of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, police said. He was hit by a 51-year-old woman driving a Ford F-250 truck as she attempted to turn left into the Clairemont Square shopping center from the eastbound lane.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries that included a broken hip.
