SAN DIEGO (CNS) - San Diego police Tuesday were investigating a fight in North Park that led to an 18-year-old man being stabbed in his abdomen and arm.

The stabbing in the 3000 block of Upas Street was reported at 10:23 p.m. Monday, according to San Diego police Sgt. David Jennings.

The 18-year-old victim and two companions were involved in an altercation with heavily tattooed, bald-headed white males, Jennings said, noting that the shirtless suspects fled southbound in the east alley of 30th Street.

Jennings described the victim's stab wounds as serious.
