LA MESA (CBS 8) - A parolee is in custody, after leading police on a chase in La Mesa.
It happened just after 9 a.m. Tuesday morning. San Diego Police got word a wanted parolee was at large and possibly armed.
During the pursuit, police say the parolee threw a gun and drugs out his window. The chase ended when the suspect crashed his car at Massachusetts Avenue and Waite Drive.
He was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
