VISTA (CNS) - A documented gang member accused of killing two teenagers in an Oceanside park was scheduled to be arraigned Monday at the Vista courthouse.
AL'C Robert Bejaran, 19, was already in prison on a parole violation when he was arrested last Thursday in connection with the May 3 shooting deaths of Sandra Salgado, 14, and Fernando Felix Solano, 16, at Libby Lake Park.
Patrol officers found the teens' bodies at the Calle Montecito Street open-space area about 10:30 p.m. May 3 while responding to reports of gunfire.
Investigators have established no motive for the killings. The slain teens, both of whom lived in Oceanside, had no known gang ties, according to OPD Lt. Leonard Mata.
Bejaran has been in custody at Donovan State Prison in Otay Mesa since May 9.
