LA PRESA (CNS) - Several people were displaced when a single-family home caught fire near La Presa Middle School early Tuesday, but no injuries were immediately reported, authorities said.
The fire in the 1000 block of Leland Street, near Saint George Street, was reported at 3:09 a.m., according to a Heartland fire dispatcher.
Firefighters knocked down the flames within about 20 minutes, she said.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
