SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Two men robbed a Papa John's pizza delivery driver of pizza and cash in North Park, police said Saturday.
The robbery in the 4000 block of Georgia Street, near University Avenue, was reported at 10:34 p.m. on Friday, San Diego police Officer David Stafford said.
The driver was delivering pizza when two men inside a 4-door Volkswagen stopped next to him, Stafford said. The men, one with a pistol and the other with a knife, got out of the car and demanded cash.
The suspects took the pizza and cash, then fled in the same car, driven by a third person suspect, Stafford said.
The delivery driver was uninjured.
