SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 15-year-old boy confronted by possible gang members in Logan Heights was stabbed in the abdomen, San Diego police said Sunday.
The stabbing at Main and 32nd streets took place about 10:25 p.m. Saturday, Sgt. Jorge Leon said.
The men asked the teen where he was from, a fight ensued and the boy was stabbed in the abdomen, Leon said.
The suspects fled in a silver-colored Nissan, the sergeant said.
Paramedics took the boy to UCSD Medical Center for treatment of his injuries police called non-life-threatening.
The gang unit was investigating the attack, he said.
A pedestrian was found dead on Interstate 5 around 2 a.m. Saturday morning. California Highway Patrol say a car struck and killed the man, leaving him to die in the freeway.
