Missing 15-year-old girl found safe in Mission Valley

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A 15-year-old girl reported missing overnight while staying with relatives in Mission Valley was located Thursday.

Shyla Goldborg was found Thursday afternoon wandering around a Mission Valley apartment complex near where a sheriff's search command post was set up.

The girl was taken to county mental health for an evalution.

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Authorities are looking Thursday for a 15-year-old girl who went missing in Mission Valley.

Family members contacted the sheriff's department after Shyla Goldborg went missing overnight. Shyla was staying with relatives in Mission Valley and was last seen at 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Shyla is described as Native American with long black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray Aeropostale hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black and hot pink flip flops. She was visiting San Diego from Montana.
