A horse had to be euthanized Friday morning, after breaking down during a workout on the main track.
A track spokesperson tells a local news source the horse, named "Nijinsky's Leap", suffered a shoulder injury while training on the Polytrack surface.
Last year, five horses were put down after suffering injuries on the track.
