SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Grief counselors will be at Mount Carmel High School Tuesday, to help students cope with the murder of a recent graduate.

Eighteen-year-old Briana Williams and her mother Donna were stabbed to death in their Rancho Penasquitos home Monday.

Donna Williams is a veteran of the San Diego Police Department.

Authorities found her 24-year-old son Brian, sitting next to his sister's body, and arrested him on suspicion of murder.

Friends describe him as a quiet, religious man who's not capable of something like this.

"He literally needs to be evaluated because this isn't him that everyone grew up with him knows him to be," said Eric Occhipinti, the suspect's friend.

Grief counselors will be at Mount Carmel Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Brian Williams will be arraigned on Wednesday.
