CAMPO (CNS) - An autopsy was pending Saturday on a 43-year-old San Diego man killed when the motorcycle he was riding drifted off state Route 94 and struck a power pole, the California Highway Patrol said Saturday.
The victim crashed his Suzuki motorcycle while traveling west at an unknown speed near the Campo Indian Reservation about 7:20 p.m., Friday, according to CHP Officer Brian Pennings. The victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
There were no witnesses to the crash, and officers continued to investigate to determine the cause.
The victim's name was unavailable this afternoon.
