EL CAJON (CBS 8) - El Cajon Harley-Davidson is hosting a benefit to help a local Marine critically injured by a drunk driver.
Gunnery Sergeant Dave Smith was hit while riding his Harley Sunday. The accused driver, a 21-year-old, had a blood alcohol level almost five times the legal limit.
This week there's been an outpouring of community support for Smith and his family, as he clings to life at Palomar Medical Center. Now El Cajon Harley-Davidson wants to help.
In this Your Stories video report, Jeff Zevely has details on Saturday's benefit.
