CARLSBAD (CNS) - An armed man with his face covered robbed a Carlsbad hotel Saturday, police said.
Carlsbad police continued to search for the man who robbed the Carlsbad Residence Inn at 2000 Faraday Avenue shortly before 4 a.m., according to Carlsbad police Lt. Bruce May.
The robber brandished a handgun and demanded money from the clerk, who complied and handed over an undisclosed amount, May said.
The thief was described as a white male in his 20s who was about 6 feet tall. He wore black clothing and used a mask or a bandana to cover his face during the robbery.
