SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Inside Stone and Glass in Rancho Bernardo, your future looks so bright you've got to wear shades.
"All the devices are running at 2,200 degrees. They kick out a lot of infrared and ultraviolet light," James Stone said.
This is James Stone's fiery realm.
"I'm an environmental artist, that's what I do," he said.
James also teaches group and private glassblowing classes at his shop inside the Bernardo Winery.
"This is one of the wonderful things. It's the perfect therapy if you have attention deficit disorder, because you only have 10 seconds," James said.
Soon it's time to go for it, or should I say, blow for it. And if at first you don't succeed, blow, blow again. And again.
At Stone and Glass, they are keepers of the flame, and the creators of fine home-spun art.
