SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The Chargers held a special practice session at MCAS Miramar Wednesday exclusively for the men and women who serve in the military.
Marines, sailors and their families were treated to a picture and autograph session, as well as a performance by the Charger Girls.
For many it was a chance to get up close and personal with their favorite players.
"We idolize these guys when we're little playing football and moving around team to team, and to see these guys playing on the base its a great opportunity," U.S. Marine Sgt. Aaron Lilly said.
The Chargers will host the San Francisco 49ers Thursday night at Qualcomm Stadium in their final game of the pre-season.
