San Diego police search for man who robbed Mission Valley hotel

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - San Diego police were on the lookout Saturday for a man suspected of robbing a Mission Valley hotel.

A man armed with a handgun walked into the Howard Johnson hotel at 1631 Hotel Circle South about 10:10 p.m. Friday and demanded cash, according to San Diego police Officer David Stafford.

The robber received an undisclosed amount left the hotel, Stafford said.

No one was injured.

He was described as a black male, about 6 feet tall, between 200 and 210 pounds. He wore a red sweatshirt.
