SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The SDG&E website now shows 860 customers without power and an estimated time to be restored at 5 p.m. for some residents and 6 p.m. for others.

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - It appears a blown transformer knocked out power to customers in the Linda Vista area Saturday, according to News 8 crew members at the scene.

A live power line fell, sliced a palm tree in half and was arcing, said News 8 crew members.

It happened near Burton and Kramer streets just after 12:30pm.

The SDG&E website first showed more than 1600 customers without power and now shows 259 still without power. The website also indicates that power is expected to be restored by 3:40 p.m.

No injuries have been reported.
