SAN DIEGO (CNS) - The "boil water" order issued following a power outage 10 days ago was still in effect for a few neighborhoods in East County and North County Saturday.
The order remained in effect for the Highland East Trailer Park in Boulevard, Julian Oaks Youth Ministries, the San Luis Rey Picnic Ground in San Ysabel, Calexico Lodge in Boulevard and Oak Knoll Village in Pauma Valley, according to the county's website.
The boil water order was issued when the public water systems lost pressure in the water distribution systems following the Sept. 8 outage, and will remain in effect until lab results confirm the absence of bacteria in the water, according to the county.
