SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Authorities asked the public Thursday for help in identifying a young man who has exposed himself to several Rancho Bernardo residents over the last month.

Late on the night of Sept. 10, a resident of the 12000 block of Rancho Bernardo Road saw the man standing in her back yard, exposing and fondling himself, according to police.

After a moment, the flasher ran off toward a nearby golf course and disappeared into the neighborhood, SDPD Detective Gary Hassen said.

The victim described the perpetrator as a thin, pale, roughly 5-foot-9-inch white man in his late teens or early 20s, with short, dark brown hair.

A man matching the same description exposed himself to residents in the 16000 block of Diego Drive on the morning of Sept. 14, and in the 16000 block of Ascena Drive on the evening of Aug. 22, according to Hassen.

Anyone with information about the incidents was asked to call San Diego County Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
