SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Slightly expanded pat-downs at all gates of Qualcomm Stadium will be implemented for Sunday's San Diego Chargers-Kansas City Chiefs game and fans are being encouraged to head to the entrance gates earlier than usual.
The expanded pat-down includes the area below the knees and will take slightly longer to be conducted, according to the Chargers. All pat-downs will be conducted by same-gender screeners.
To expedite the screening process, the Chargers strongly suggest that all items be clearly visible, that fans use clear or see-through bags to carry items in and avoid carrying backpacks or large bags with lots of pockets that need to be opened and inspected.
