SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Police didn't have to go far to arrest a 55-year-old transient for allegedly breaking a glass front door on a downtown building, as the damage was at San Diego Police Department headquarters, officers said Sunday.

The suspect, identified by police as David Lee Glenn, allegedly shattered the glass about 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the building at 1401 Broadway, according to Officer David Stafford. Glenn was arrested at the scene.

Glenn was booked into the San Diego Central Jail for suspicion of felony vandalism and was held on $10,000 bail, according to jail records.
