SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A total of 48 rounds were fired inside a Skyline apartment in a shootout that killed San Diego police officer Chris Wilson, according to search warrants unsealed this week.

The records say two of the suspects who survived the shootout are Patrick Luangrath and Melissa Ortiz, who later tested positive for gunshot residue.  They're now charged with murder, along with a third suspect, Alex Charfauros.

Also, a police dog that was shot in the face was actually shot by another officer, according to the warrants.

Holim Lee fired the shot that killed Officer Wilson and then committed suicide inside the apartment along with his girlfriend, Lucky Xayasene.
