ESCONDIDO (CBS 8) - Fire crews appeared to gain control over a roughly five-acre brush fire burning near Safari Park Wednesday.
The fire was located east of the park, and was burning uphill in an open area.
No structures were threatened, according to Cal Fire. There were no reports of injuries.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
