Getting hairy for a cause, Stache-Tober Fest brings reality home

Escondido (CBS8) - Emulating looks of Tom Selleck and Wilford Brimley, firefighters teamed up to grow mustaches in six weeks to help raise money to help one of their own.

While the event 'Stache-Tober Fest' began as an excuse for guys to grow a mustache and drink beer, its grown into a fundraiser where more than five-hundred firefighters and family members come together to help give back to someone in need.
