SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The dolphin that swam into the hearts of people across the country got her tail courtesy of a man who practices right here in San Diego.

The movie "Dolphin Tale" tells the story of an injured dolphin that learned to swim again.

In this News 8 video story, photojournalist Kenny McGregor sat down with Kevin Carroll to talk about his groundbreaking invention.
