SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A man in his 20s was attacked and stabbed three times in the stomach during a robbery in Egger Highlands, police said Friday.
The man was walking in the 1100 block of Atwater Street about 11:50 p.m. Thursday when he was confronted by four men, also believed to be in their 20s, who attacked him and stole his property, said San Diego police Officer David Stafford.
The victim was taken to a local trauma center. The extent of his wounds was unclear.
The assailants remained at large Friday morning.
