
SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - It's called the "common cold" for a reason, with over 1 billion cases recorded in the United States every year. And while they can occur at any time of the year, doctors say they are most common in the winter or rainy seasons.
So it's no surprise that our cool, damp turn in the weather has seen a spike in these upper respiratory infections.
