CORONADO, Calif. (CBS 8) -- The body of Rebecca Zahau has arrived in Pittsburgh for a second autopsy, three and a half months after her death at the Spreckels mansion in Coronado on July 13.

News 8 has confirmed Zahau's body was flown to Pittsburgh, were world-renowned pathologist Cyril Wecht will perform a private autopsy Friday morning.

The family said donations paid for Zahau's body to be exhumed and transported from its burial plot in St. Joseph, Missouri.

The San Diego County Medical Examiner ruled Zahau's death a suicide by hanging last month, but the family believes she was murdered.

In an interview with News 8, Dr. Wecht said he expects the body will be in good condition and he will be able identify specific injuries, including four head injuries described in Zahau's first autopsy report.

"Assuming that it was a decent job of embalming then I think the body should be in pretty good shape and I think we should be able to make determinations," Wecht said.

The results of the second autopsy will be discussed on an episode of the Dr. Phil Show next month, which airs on CBS 8.

Wecht said he will conduct the second autopsy objectively.

"I assume nothing and I try, to the best of my conscious ability, to approach it with a fresh mind and open mind without any fixed agendas," said Wecht.

Wecht said he expects to have the autopsy results complete in about a week and a half.
