Possible terror threat at Calexico border crossing

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) – There is extra security that has been added to the Calexico border crossings Friday due to an unconfirmed threat.

Border protection agents say they received information Wednesday, pertaining to a threat in Mexico.

As a precaution, additional law enforcement resources have been deployed, to ensure safety for travelers.

Officials are asking the public to be patient and to report any suspicious activity.
