After all the training it's time to rest. I made one last trip to the gym today for a final meeting with the treadmill followed by lots of stretching. Now it's time for a break. It's recommended that walkers take at least a one day break before starting their 60 mile journey. On the schedule for Thursday is simply some last minute details - maybe a fresh pair of insoles for my shoes - lots of fluids and a good night's sleep (the last one is so much easier said that done!).
