EL CAJON (CNS) - Two men accused of stealing a man's cell phone at gunpoint at a trolley station in La Mesa were scheduled to be arraigned at the El Cajon courthouse Monday.
Richard James Goodman, 26, and Sterling Lamont Joseph, 27, were arrested at separate locations last Tuesday on suspicion of robbery.
La Mesa police alleged that the pair committed the robbery at the trolley station in the 7200 block of Alvarado Road shortly before 7:30 p.m. Nov. 21. It was not immediately clear what led detectives to identify them as the suspects.
The defendants were each booked into county jail in lieu of $100,000 bail pending arraignment.
