SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A masked man held up a gas station on Imperial Avenue in southeast San Diego Sunday, and threatened the life of an employee as he took less than $100, according to the victim.

The armed robbery took place at the Arco gas station in the 6300 block of Imperial Avenue about 6:47 a.m., said a San Diego Police Department spokesperson. No one was injured.

According to the victim, 50-year-old Theresa Samudia, the robber got away with about $70.

The masked man walked inside, opened a backpack and demanded cash as he pointed a handgun at Samudia's face. Before leaving, he threatened to kill her if she said anything.

The robber is described as 6 feet tall, medium build, wearing a dark mask and a dark jacket.

Samudia said she has worked in the gas station for six years, and this was the second time she has been robbed.
