SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Two people were arrested early Wednesday following a high-speed pursuit in the North County involving a suspected drunken driver, authorities said.
The pursuit began about 12:45 a.m. on Cypress Drive in the Vista area and went onto southbound Interstate 15, according to the California Highway Patrol. It ended on the I-15 offramp to Old Highway 395 in the Fallbrook area, the agency reported.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving, and a passenger was also taken into custody. Both were booked into the Vista jail, according to the CHP. No other details were immediately released.
