SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Two men were stabbed Saturday in a fight that broke that involved 10 people, some of whom were reportedly gang members, at a Mira Mesa restaurant, San Diego police said.
A group of five men, all in their 20s, were at the Cotixan Mexican restaurant, at 8110 Mira Mesa Blvd., just before 4 a.m., police said.
A 2008 or 2009 Honda Civic sedan arrived with five occupants, who identified themselves as gang members. A fight broke out between the two groups, police said.
Two of the first group of men were stabbed during the altercation, one in his abdomen and legs and the other got numerous cuts and stab wounds to his legs, police said.
The three other men were kicked and punched by the gang members and sustained minor injuries, police said.
None of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening, police said.
One suspect was described as a black or Filipino male wearing a white shirt and dark jeans.
