One person dead after solo rollover crash

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - At least one person died in a solo-vehicle rollover crash off Interstate 5 Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The fatality along southbound Interstate 5 at National Avenue in the Barrio Logan area was reported at 6:42 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. A SigAlert was issued around 8:00 a.m. for the 28th Street ramp on Southbound I-5, according to Chopper 8 live reports.

The vehicle was found on its roof and was barely visible to the reporting party, the CHP reported.

The victim's identity was withheld pending notification of next of kin. There was no word yet on any other injuries.

No other details were immediately released by the CHP.
