Adopt 8 kids of 2011 still searching for forever homes

This past year on Adopt 8, News 8 has featured 54 children - kids who are considered hard to place - because they're older, part of a sibling set or have special needs.

And while many of those kids enjoyed Christmas with their new families, 22 of the children profiled this year are spending the holidays without a family to call their own.

In this video report, Photojournalist Ann Marie Spaulding and I look back the kids who are still waiting and hoping the New Year will bring them a new start.
