SAN DIEGO (CNS) - San Diego police Wednesday made public video of a man who groped a woman at a Mira Mesa Target store in hopes of catching him.

The crime occurred in front of the store at 8251 Mira Mesa Blvd. about 8:30 p.m. Dec. 14, San Diego police Lt. Andra Brown said.

Inside the store, the man grabbed the woman's buttocks, then apologized and walked away, Brown said. He then allegedly approached her two more times in the store, each time grabbing her buttocks and making sexual comments.

The man also accosted the woman in the parking lot, Brown said.

As she backed her vehicle from space, he walked to the front of her car, and she drove away, Brown said.

Police described the man as a 20-something Hispanic, about 5 feet 8 inches and 150 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. He wore a chain around his neck, a black T-shirt, blue jeans and a black ball cap with a logo, Brown said. He may be driving a newer silver- or gold-colored, four-door Ford pickup.

Anyone with more information as to his name or whereabouts was asked to call police at (619) 538-8000 or Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
