SAN DIEGO (CNS) - The low fog that descended on coastal San Diego County was expected to return Sunday, which could cause some visibility issues for area motorists, according to the National Weather Service.
The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory for coastal areas and coastal mesas, which is set begin effect at 8 p.m. and remain in effect until 10 a.m. Monday.
The advisory stated visibility may be reduced to less than a quarter-mile due to the fog which could effect traffic, especially on Interstate 5 and other coastal highways. Delays at coastal airports, including Lindbergh Field, could be possible as well. Motorists were advised to use headlights and leave plenty of room between vehicles.
