A rat problem so bad, the house must be torn down

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - After more than 10 years of neglect, a Spring Valley home ended up with a rat problem so bad, the house must be torn down, and neighbors are pretty relieved about it.

The place was crawling with hundreds of the rodents day and night, and neighbors say the smell was awful and they didn't want to send their kids outside.
