RAMONA (CNS) - A multi-vehicle crash temporarily closed down a section of State Highway 78 between Julian and Ramona Sunday, but no one was reported to be badly hurt.
Four or five vehicles were involved in the crash on Highway 78 near Rancho Teresa Drive, about 14 miles east of Escondido, about 9:50 a.m., a California Highway Patrol dispatcher said.
Three tow trucks were called to help clear the road.
Both lanes of Highway 78 were closed for about half-an-hour, but traffic was congested for several hours, the dispatcher said.
None of the people involved in the crash sustained major or life-threatening injuries, he said.

Officers called three tow trucks to help clear the road, the dispatcher said. Both lanes of Highway 78 were closed at 10:45 a.m. and were expected to remain closed for about 45 minutes.
There was no word regarding the medical condition of the people involved in the crash, he said.
