ESCONDIDO (CNS) - A woman told Escondido police she was grabbed from behind, pulled into an alley off Escondido Boulevard and sexually assaulted, police said Sunday.
A female victim reported the assault about 4:30 a.m. Saturday, police Lt. Chris Wynn said.
The victim was walking south on Escondido Boulevard near West Grand Avenue when she was grabbed from behind and pulled into an alley. There, an unknown man sexually assaulted her, Wynn said.
Police described the suspect as Hispanic, between 30 and 35 years old, about 5 feet-8 inches tall and 170 pounds. He wore a dark, short sleeved shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes, and spoke with an accent, Wynn said.
