MISSION VALLEY (CNS) - A 4-year-old girl was transported to the hospital Sunday after a two-vehicle crash on Camino Del Rio North near Fashion Valley Mall.
The child, who had a bruise on her head, did not appear to sustain serious injuries but was taken to Rady Children's Hospital as a precaution, San Diego police Officer Jane Jacobsen said.
The crash occurred about 11 a.m. in the westbound lane of Camino Del Rio North near the Macy's parking lot.
The two vehicles sustained heavy front end damage, Jacobsen said, and airbags in both were deployed. But no other injuries were reported.
