SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault in an attack on a woman jogger at Mission Bay Park, police said.
The woman was jogging about 6:30 p.m. Saturday when she was "grabbed from behind and rendered unconscious," said San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.
"She woke up and drove herself to the hospital," Delimitros said. "She had visible injuries to her neck, back and wrists."
Police with the beach team found a transient with a rope and arrested him.
