SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 25-year-old man was stabbed in the head with a butter knife after an early-morning fight in Little Italy Sunday.
The attack occurred about 3:40 a.m. on State Street near West Date Street, San Diego Police officer Jane Jacobsen said.
The two men were in a fight when the suspect stabbed the victim in the head, resulting in a small cut, a local news source reported.
Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries, Jacobsen said.
Officers found their suspect a couple of blocks away from the scene with blood on his shirt, police said.
