
SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Police searched Wednesday for a man who robbed a CVS pharmacy in the San Carlos area at knifepoint while wearing a surgical mask.
The robbery at the CVS Pharmacy at 7393 Jackson Dr. was reported at 11:16 a.m. Tuesday, said San Diego police Officer Jane Jacobsen.
The robber entered the drug store wearing a surgical white mask and carrying a knife and a demand note, she said.
A clerk responding to the note handed the robber some cash, prompting him to flee, police said. The amount of the loss was not immediately disclosed.
The robber was described as a white male in his teens or early 20s, between 5 feet 1 and 5 feet 4, with short blond hair, wearing a blue hoodie and jeans. Robbery detectives were handling the investigation.
